How Has Your Knowledge and Understanding of the Bible Changed Over the Course of this Topic?
This blog post isn’t going to be the usual one, its going to be a post for some schoolwork which is fairly simple, so if you have stumbled across this by accident (which is going to be hard cos there are no tags) then its probably not going to be what you expect.
So how has my knowledge and understanding of the bible changed over the course of this topic?
well if the question means to say; “how has this course/topic changed your understanding and knowledge of the bible?”
then i would say:
Well, for me personally, this topic hasn’t changed my understanding/perception/knowledge of the bible, really, at all. But, that would have something to do with the fact that i am christian, i do read the bible, and this course doesn’t focus a whole lot on the bible more the movie and how it relates to the bible. but i think for some other people in my class (non-christians) it might have effected them, some of the questions we had to answer in this topic were big questions. questions like; “Have you ever felt haunted by the idea that there is something wrong with the world? What do you think that problem is?” and “Why is self knowledge empowering?” and they would of really made alot of the other people think about why they are here and what are they doing, are they just taking up space? does life just go on and on? whats the point of being born, living, and then dying? but it didn’t really effect me a whole lot, i know why i am here.
now if the question was meant to say; “during the time of this course, have you grown in your understanding and knowledge of the bible?”
then i would say:
well yes i have, i grow in knowledge and understanding of god and the bible everyday just by looking outside and knowing you know the “person” that made that. but i have grown alot during empowering where god just downloaded a whole bunch of stuff onto me and i was able to understand him x10 more than i did before.
other than that i dont really know where to go with this question, because the course hasn’t really made a big impact on my life, it just made me look further into the film and think about it alot more.
But, one big question that was raised in my head was “Why did god create us? He doesn’t need us? or does he need us? are we a big game? i guess i’ll ask him when i get up there.
